Job description
ROLE PURPOSE
•The role is responsible for defining, developing and delivering end-to-end services within the integrated services group in line with the agreed P&L. The role is accountable for designing, building, pricing, and enhancing the service, as well as service delivery and cost recovery.

•The role also works across IT leadership to understand the business requirements of the service, and with architects, technology brokers, and external service providers deliver excellent services in line with agreed standards.
•The role defines, costs and tracks service KPIs to drive ongoing improvements in service delivery performance and ensures that all costs are recovered in line with agreed budgets.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Drives the Regulated applications group to deliver defined services in line with the budgetary targets, customer satisfaction levels and strategic objectives of the function.

•Delivery of end to end compliance and cost effective service for regulated IT applications.

•Continually enhance the services provided and create opportunities to enhance the GBS IT services provided.

•Maintain excellent Customer satisfaction ratings
•Define customer SLA and IT budgets within GBS for all regulated applications.

•Define, setup and implement new services to expand GBS breath and service offerings

•Manages all services, issues are reports performance against the defined SLA.

•Develops an annual strategy to develop and enhance the services that the service manager is responsible for, and updates the technology plan.

•Understands IT service cost drivers and connects cost of service to consumption drivers

•Single point of engagement for demand planning and demand management conversations with business partners around their needs for a specific service

•Reviews business requests for service enhancements and undertakes cost evaluation, standards reviews, and prioritization

•Contributes service descriptions and service-level agreements (SLAs) for specific services to the organization’s service catalog

•Interacts with technology brokers/vendor managers to identify and evaluate new technology products for their services

•Operate in an open and collaborate way across linked GBS service domains to ensure that GBS provide one integrated and cost effective service to all customers.

•Escalates any internal IT issues to the respective responsible functions to ensure that GBS customers receives an end to end service.

•Ensures that all IGM processes are followed to ensure that no adverse audit findings are obtained within the regulated applications application.

•Drive internal quality standards developments and certifications

•Lead teams as allocated and implement agreed strategic plan.

•Develop strong customer relationships with the respective business area, manage planning and strategy input

•Understand the processes, plans, objectives, drivers, and issues related to the business area, together with appropriate external policies and regulations.

•Contribute the IT aspects to the business strategy development, bringing business opportunities through technology and business knowledge.

Desired Skills and Experience

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

•Group leadership experience and a good understanding and knowledge of business processes in a global health care industry

•15+ years of working experience in Regulated IT applications (preferably in project management / service delivery positions)

•Risk management background with experience in risk management related roles

•Senior IT management and knowledge of general IT, project management and compliance domains.

•10+ years IT project management experience

•Implementation of new processes or methodologies

•Extensive understanding of business processes and objectives

•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

•Expert knowledge of one or more information governance & management disciplines
•High level of customer focus with proven problem solving skills
•10+ years GxP and CSV experience

•10+ years senior management experience
•10+ years SLA / OLA and KPI management
