Contact: Carole SirauxJob Posting nr: (tbd) The Challenge: The Product Implementation and Consultancy team is a group of advisory people providing support and expertise on the implementation of MasterCard products and services. As such it will be in contact with internal partners (Customer Implementation Services colleagues from all regions, Customer Delivery, Customer Technical Support, Integrator team, Account teams, product managers in the various Product Groups, …). In terms of projects, the team coordinates large, complex and/or critical initiatives, new products pilots, and pre-sales or pre-implementation project phases. In terms of product, the team will create or enhance processes in order to standardize and to ensure the quality and reliability of the Implementations. It is also part of the PIC responsibility to provide specific Academy trainings and coach junior CIS people. In scope of the ongoing product developments at MasterCard Labs, we are looking to extend our capability and proximity to this team. As such, our PIC team needs to acquire knowledge about the development process cycle (from Requirements to Development testing). This in order to be able to develop specific implementation processes at the early stage of a product conception. As part of MasterCard’s customer implementation strategy the jobholder will be responsible for managing and supporting different implementation activities as: · Design and synchronize product implementation process with key internal stakeholders (global and regional Product groups, GTO teams the different regional locations). Maintain overall view of transversal implementation activities and customer business picture for specific new MasterCard products and services (which customer uses which specific new product and/or service).· Act as product and service consultant for implementation project managers, implementation specialists and business coordinators internally, and for MasterCard customers externally within the corresponding Customer Implementation region.· Act as a point of contact for specific new MasterCard products and services and their related implementation services towards the global and regional Product groups.· Act as CIS Product Implementation Subject Matter Expert. Maintain up-to-date product expertise and knowledge within CIS, meaning e.g. processes and documentation. Act as implementation central point of contact for first pilot projects for new MasterCard products and services. · Regularly assess product implementation processes and tools, developed, and adapt to proof to be first-in-class and efficient, with up-to-date documentation, including implementation service offering via implementation service catalogue, and
Elaboration of new standard implementation plan modules.· Analyze customer impact for product implementation due to MasterCard’s processing systems changes, liaising with Business Systems Management team and Systems Development accordingly.· After first pilots define and refined implementation process standard provide project hand-over to Implementation project manager for product mass roll out.· Support sales effort initiated by the account team, the customer delivery group or the product group. The resulted output might be a regular implementation project (hypothetical).· Scope an upcoming implementation project. The result of the effort is a pre-implementation document that will help the sponsor to launch and scope at the right time one or more implementation projects. Provide training to CIS organization, other MasterCard organizations and the customer.· Lead large projects program management.· Lead large initiatives to align or redesign processes.· Answer to CIS Europe Support help desk queries.· Act as a coach and/or mentor for new comers ‘In-depth’ technical knowledge
knowledge of current mobile techniques and mobile payment means is a plus
Business analyst experience The Profile: The ideal candidate has following: Knowledge/experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of work experience in the financial transaction processing environment, ideally in the areas customer implementation, product management or technical marketing
Strong payment transaction processing and industry business principles knowledge.
Strong understanding of MasterCard’s payment processing systems, formats and associated customer host interface testing services and principles.
Strong understanding of MasterCard’s products and services, or able to acquire the specifics of MasterCard in a short timeframe, based upon previous payments industry experience.
Proven record demonstrating a clear ability to master complex matters in the context of transaction processing, computer networks and applications, where implementation process definition is a known area of expertise
Builds efficient internal partnerships and communicates extensively with key internal stakeholders in other MasterCard departments, groups, teams and with customersSkills/Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to leverage these skills in a teaching environment (technical as well as business oriented)
