Head of Program Management Sanmina-SCI - Fermoy



Job Description

OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:

The Head of Program Management will work closely with the EMEA and Global Salesteams to create and develop business opportunities for the Fermoy site. Inaddition he/she will also manage and develop the Program management teams froma business process, metrics and human resource perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Togetherwith the EMEA and Global Sales teams identify, create and develop potentialbusiness opportunities with both new and existing customers and bring theseopportunities to fruition through the implementation of manufacturing solutionsat the Fermoy site
  • Ensurethat Fermoy continues to grow and develop its business base  by maximisingvalue add activities and opportunities across the range of services offered bythe Fermoy site
  • Driveall customer service and satisfaction initiatives in SANMINA-SCI.
  • Implementand utilize the Customer Feedback process.
  • Develop& maintain all commercial aspects of the customers business in operations.
  • Representthe customer in SANMINA-SCI operations.
  • Proactiveresolution of any customer care issues between SANMINA-SCI and the customer.
  • Buildand promote a healthy business relationship with the customer.
  • Establisha regular (weekly, bi-weekly) communication schedule with the key customercontacts.
  • Managethe customers business within the framework of the contract agreement.
  • Managethe order/forecast-commit process.
  • Facilitatethe resolution of any planning / ordering conflicts with the customer and thesite.
  • Utilisethe backlog analyser to improve order management performance.
  • Analyseand action customer forecast accuracy issues.
  • Understandthe product lead-time portfolio and its implications on the order process.
  • Resolveall delinquent A/R (Accounts receivable).
  • Resolveall E&O material issues.
  • Reviewand action all product gross margin issues.
  • Implementand maintain the customer action log process.
  • Maintainand distribute the weekly customer focus KBI(Key Business Indicator) sheet.
  • Managethe customer in relation to SANMINA-SCI’s revenue expectations.
  • Drivethe NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
  • Manageall commercial aspects of the ECO, while communicating & agreeing ECOaffectivity dates & costs with the customer.
  • Manageand present monthly customer account reviews to site management
  • Manageand present quarterly customer account reviews to the customer.
  • Reviewand action monthly customer P&L (profit & Loss) activities.
  • Implementthe RMA agreement with the customer and operations.
  • Drivethe CFT (Customer Focus Team).
  • Manageproduct EOL (End of Life) process with minimal cost exposure to SANMINA-SCI.
  • Ensurefully documented customer trace ability; document, collate and file allcommercial activities with respect to the customer.
  • Supportoperations in all customer related activities.


MEASUREMENTS:
  • Measurements will be tracked against plant metrics and MBOs tracked as per the annual appraisal process.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree level education.
  • Commercial and/or project management experience.
  • Fluent English both oral and written.
  • Computer skills – EXCEL.
  • Willing to travel, flexibility
